A 67-year-old woman was scheduled to undergo cataract surgery, yet it was postponed due to the discovery of 27 contact lenses in her eye! Surgeons discovered 17 contact lenses in the patient’s eye, and another subsequent examination retrieved 10 more lenses, making the total number of contacts in her eye a staggering 27! The contact lenses were stuck together, forming a large mass. Apparently, the woman had been wearing monthly disposable lenses; however, she had forgotten to remove the previous lens before placing the new one. She simply attributed the discomfort of her eyes to dryness and old age.

The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency revealed images and videos from the “Int-Ball” – JEM Internal Ball Camera. The “Int-Ball” is a camera drone that can record images and videos while moving in space.
