London’s Black Taxis are Going Electric

The iconic black taxis that we see in London have been reinvented in a way that will surely help the environment. The new electric taxi that is called “TX” will have the same look and size of the classic taxi in addition to a new set of features. The London Taxi Company has rebranded itself to become the London Electric Vehicle Company which is an owned subsidiary of Geely. The TX will use eCity technology that will make it capable of running for around 70 miles on battery before switching to a petrol engine for about 400 miles.
